2026 is an election year for SiNAPSA, Slovenian Neuroscience Association. In accordance with our Statute, elections will be carried out via a secure online platform following the formation of the candidate list.

The following positions are eligible for election:

Management Board<\/strong>
– president
– secretary general
– treasurer
– 4 elected members

Supervisory Board<\/strong>
– 3 elected members

Honorary Arbitration Board<\/strong>
– 3 elected members

Election committee and nomination proposal submission <\/strong>
At SiNAPSA’s General Assembly on February 9 2026, members Nina Omejc, Ela Fleischman and Lana Blinc were voted into the election committee. The committee is accepting nomination proposals for SiNAPSA 2026 elections at info@sinapsa.org<\/a>.<\/strong>

Any regular member of SiNAPSA may nominate themselves or another regular member for any open position in the association bodies, provided that they (or the nominee) have not held that position for two consecutive mandates. If a member nominates another member, they must secure their consent prior to sumbitting a nomination proposal.

Nominations proposals must include:
– name, surname, affiliation and contact e-mail of the candidate (obligatory<\/strong>)
– a brief personal presentation (optional)

The nomination proposal submission deadline is May 11, 2026<\/strong>.
