National brain day 2026 media conference

SiNAPSA is proposing an initiative and offering suggestions for a national brain health strategy.

SiNAPSA, Slovenian Neuroscience Association, is delighted to invite all interested members of the media and general public to attend a media conference, organised to mark Slovenia’s annual national brain day. An expert panel will present challenges in addressing brain and nervous system disorders, as well as propose an initative and offer suggestions to design a national brain health strategy.

Date & time: March 18th at 15:30

Venue: URI Soča, Linhartova street 51, 1000 Ljubljana (the lecture hall is located on the 4th floor of the Vrtnica building). The venue is accessible by Ljubljana’s public transit (bus lines 2, 7, 19B, 19I, 22, 24) and by car (heading towards Ljubljana via Štajerska street).

Prof. Boris Rogelj, PhD; head of the Section for biotechnology at the Institute Jožef Stefan; professor at the Department of Biochemistry at the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology; sitting president of SiNAPSA, Slovenian Neuroscience Association;

Assoc. prof. Maja Kojović, MD, PhD, spec. neurologist; president of Slovenian Association of Neurologists; Department of Neurology, University Clinical Centre Ljubljana

Asst. prof. Jure Bon, MD, PhD, spec. psychiatrist; medical director at the University psychiatric clinic Ljubljana;

Prof. Maja Bresjanac, MD, PhD; Institute of Pathophysiology, University of Ljubljana; head of project Mens sana in capite sano, SiNAPSA, Slovenian Neuroscience Association.
