eSiNAPSA in 2024: Two issues and numerous insights into the mysteries of the brain
In 2024, we offered our readers two rich issues exploring the fascinating interplay between nature, science, and our understanding of the brain.
The first issue was dedicated to finding inspiration in nature. The editorial titled From Nature to Neurons: New Discoveries in Neuroscience for Better Health and Understanding of the Brain guided readers through research on the impact of the natural environment on our health. The articles highlighted how nature promotes well-being, why some children sleep better before EEG tests with dexmedetomidine than with melatonin, and whether is getting up early written in our genes. This was followed by studies on functional neurological disorders and the diagnosis of parkinsonisms.
The recently launched second issue explored the importance of collaboration. In the editorial The Importance of Collaboration Between Editorial Boards of Scientific Journals for the Growth of Science and Public Awareness, we emphasized the importance of knowledge exchange among researchers. Among the articles, readers were drawn to a review of the therapeutic potential of ketamine, a study on the impact of social support on pain, and the integration of neuroscientific methods like EEG and fMRI to enhance neurofeedback. We concluded with the fruit fly as a model organism for brain metabolism research.
Each issue brings stories that inspire researchers and broaden horizons. We invite you to dive into the world of neuroscience and discover new findings shaping the future of health and science on our website eSiNAPSA.
