Slovenia Joins the European Partnership for Brain Health

Slovenia has taken an important step in the field of neuroscience – it has joined the European Partnership for Brain Health within the Horizon Europe programme.

Slovenia has joined the European Partnership for Brain Health within the Horizon Europe programme. The partnership brings together key European institutions, researchers, clinicians, and decision‑makers with the aim of better understanding brain function and accelerating the early detection of diseases as well as the development of new diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. Slovenia’s participation includes annual support of €150,000 over the next seven years, which opens the door to joint calls for proposals, international clinical trials, and more effective knowledge transfer into practice, particularly in the field of digital and personalised solutions.

We invite you to read the two articles in the online magazine eSiNAPSA (link to the article) and in the newspaper Delo (link to the article). They explain in more detail the reasons for joining the partnership, highlight the benefits for Slovenian researchers and patients (from connecting with leading European groups to co‑creating public‑health policies), and outline a long‑term vision for a sustainable European research and innovation ecosystem for brain health.
