Invitation to a roundtable: Artificial Intelligence in Neuroscience

You are invited to the roundtable Neuroscience and Society, this year on the topic Artificial Intelligence in Neuroscience. Experts from medicine and computer science will join us.

The Neuroscience and Society Dialogue (N&SD) is an event open to the public, scheduled as part of the SiNAPSA Neuroscience Conference. The topic of this year is Artificial intelligence in neuroscience. Through the discussion, we will highlight the trends, opportunities and challenges that AI brings to neuroscience research, clinical practice, and to the broader social and ethical context.

Speakers:

  • Asst. Prof. Jurij Bon, MD (University Psychiatric Clinic Ljubljana, Slovenia)
  • Assoc. Prof. Dejan Georgiev, MD (Department of Neurology, University Medical Centre Ljubljana)
  • Assoc. Prof. Martin Žnidaršič (Department of Knowledge Technologies, Jozef Stefan Institute)

The event will be moderated by Nina Omejc. It will take place on Wednesday, 17 September 2025, from 18:30 to 20:00, in the Slovenian language. Attendees are encouraged to participate and ask questions. The event is free to attend and requires no registration.
