2025 was another full year for SiNAPSA! March and September saw us successfully carry out both Brain Awareness Week and SiNAPSA Neuroscience Conference, and we regularly posted new content on eSiNAPSA and zdravaglava.si throughout the year. With your help, we were able to deliver 450 sets of our board game and translated BrainFacts publication to recipients across Slovenia free of charge. We have an open call for applications from secondary schools in Slovenia that are interested in carrying out a tournament using these resources (please, contact us at zdravaglava.si@sinapsa.org), and if you wish to add your name to the waiting list for the updated version of the game (in preparation), please feel free to do so using this form. My Brain Robbie introduced over 150 elementary school students to healthy habits for the brain, and our recently published manuscript provides insight into the knowledge of, and engagement in brain-healthy practices as obtained from a representative sample of adult Slovenian residents. We have successfully secured funding from the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO), the Slovenian Ministry of health and Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency, which will help us carry out further projects. We are also proud of Slovenia’s recent decision to join the European Brain Health Partnership, which opens the door to joint calls for proposals, international clinical trials, and more effective knowledge transfer into practice, particularly in the field of digital and personalised solutions.
